I have been sitting on this beautiful artwork for more then ten years. its a technique I devised for a presentation ,it was supposed to just fill empty room on a presentation .
I work with automotive paint and I know its mostly about design and the color and sparkle when it comes to custom paint. I invented something sparkely and got on with the presentation.
There was a menu of options for the clients to chose from but they stuck to the one thing that I used for filler. YES it was the unique and highly aesthetic filler graphic I created to fill space. It truly did upstage the classic metal flake and pearl options. so I decided to
out price it as a discouragement to them selecting it. So much for the financial strategy as they said YES and I was left with the challenge of completing the project having never attempted this technique on a large scale ,and with no precedent in the industry.
I was like Thomas Edison after his assistant told the press that he already had the light bulb working...and did not. it is now a demand with out fail .
I did succeed with the job and it looked fantastic . I dont have any photos ,only the echo of its presence in the artwork that has this glimmering quality.
I continue to study the limitation and design potential in this little brain child.
